Get to Know Me a Little! (My Interview on Take It From the Ironwoman)

I recently had the opportunity to chat with the remarkable Susanne Mueller during an episode of her podcast, Take it from the Ironwoman. Susanne is a business coach and consultant (as well as an author, blogger, and athlete). We first met when I edited her 2014 book, after which I also worked on her two others—they’re all great reads!  

Susanne has a unique gift for connecting people, and for asking great questions. During our conversation, we spoke about my journey to becoming an admissions consultant, what I’ve learned from switching careers, and how I leverage the skills I’ve gained from my previous jobs in my current role. I also talked about how I tailor my approach to each individual student I work with, how I honor students’ voices when I edit their essays, and why you should never use AI tools for personal writing.
